The carpet "The Girl" is based on an abstraction of the world-famous "LoFi Girl". This is primarily associated with LoFi hip hop music, which thousands of people listen to every day to work more productively. For the abstraction, it was important to focus on the most elementary objects. Therefore, the well-known cover of the playlist was taken and abstracted in a pixelated way. In order to differentiate the person in the foreground from the background, it was decided to use two different tufting methods. The large, light, beige area was scented using the "Loop Pile" technique and the person in the foreground using "Cut Pile". This decision creates a wonderful physical difference.
The rug measures 70x70cm and consists of a total of 7 different types of colored wool.
